Emirates cabin crew not dead according to Civil Aviation Authority

Civil Aviation Authority of Uganda has come out to clarify the incident concerning the Emirates crew who jumped off the plane on 14th March, 2018.

An incident happened at Entebbe International Airport on the 14th March 2018, as a female member of the cabin crew appeared to have opened the emergency exit door and unfortunately fell off an Emirates aircraft that had safely landed and parked.

According to the press release, airport authorities immediately engaged emergency procedures and an ambulance rushed the lady to a nearby medical facility where she is undergoing treatment for the injuries sustained. Contrary to some social media posts, the lady is alive.

The circumstances leading to the incident are being investigated by the relevant authorities.
